Born in Brussels, Belgium, Anne Marie came to New York in 1988, with a Fullbright scholarship For a Master in Piano Performance at Manhattan School of Music.

Prize winner at the Murray Drannoff International Two Piano Competition, she went on the make the world premiere recording of its commissioned works, Recuerdos by William Bolcom, and Two Pianos by Morton Gould. The recording is currently available on Amazon.

As a pianist, and two piano duo, “The Mot Sisters”, she has performed at several venues in New-York, Connecticut, Washington DC and Miami. This summer, her most recent performance was at at a summer festival, “Rencontres Musicales de Tannay” in Switzerland.

Anne Marie plays violin and viola. She has performed String Quartet music in California, Virginia, New Jersey and New-York. She is playing viola in the Saint Thomas Orchestra in Mamaroneck, New-York.

Anne Marie has been teaching piano in Westchester since 1990 at Hackley School and The Masters School. She now currently enjoys a very successful private studio. Many of her students are prize winners at local competitions, with one student winning a “original score” award for a film festival this summer 2022.

But Anne Marie is not only passionate about music. She has been riding for the last 25 years, enjoying the flat work in the ring and some jumping. She loves to ride during her traveling, whether in Ireland for 7 days riding trip, or in Patagonia for 3 days in the National Park Torres del Paine, Chile.

For the last 7 years, Anne Marie has had an incredible partnership with her favorite horse, Logan. First, at Rockleigh equestrian center, and now at Flying Bee Farm in NJ. She says that Logan is a magnificent horse, kind, loyal, always inspiring, “my rock and my soulmate”.

After helping a friend creating a soundtrack for freestyle, Anne Marie found that she loved combining her passion for both music and horses and decided to offer her services to everyone.
